2020 Annual Commission Update Course
The course will focus on new statutes, Commission Rules and Position Statements, contract revisions and changing standards of practice. The Colorado Real Estate Commission recommends every active licensee complete the current ACU course early in the year as the course will present current information needed to practice real estate.
Broker Administration

This Broker Administration course is required to upgrade license status to Employing Broker. In addition to this 24 hour course, additional requirements for license upgrade includes 50 "Points" accumulated through some combination of course work, additional education, delegated supervisory authority and/or mentorship. These additional requirements are set forth in Commission Rule A-27.

Investment Property Analysis

This course is step two in a three-part series designed to provide an arsenal of tools designed to increase your counseling skills for the investor client and to facilitate sound investment decisions and stronger valuations. Topics include the income analysis for 1-4 family rentals, apartment buildings and all commercial grade properties. Sub-topics include GRM analysis, reverse GRM analysis to find the best properties, net and effective gross income analysis, understanding and determining the cap rate, debt coverage ratios, cash on cash return and fix and flips.

The Residential CBS Contract

This course provides a clause by clause analysis of the CBS1 Residential Contract to Buy and Sell. We will develop a stronger understanding of the form, identify common contracting problems, help the broker anticipate and avoid contract conflicts and draft stronger agreements. Approved for 6 Hours Elective CE, also approved for those seeking education hours when upgrading to Employing Broker level of license.

 

Broker Reactivation Course
The course may be used to renew an active license if a licensee has missed an Annual Commission Update course. The BRC is only available to licensees who did not use this option in the previous license cycle (may not be used in consecutive license cycles), or if the licensee has been inactive or expired for up to 36 months.
